Focusing speed while taking video with OMD E-M10 III

Hi everybody,

I have a question regarding the focus speed while taking a video with the OMD E-M10 III.

What I am trying to do is make a video of various objects on a well lit table that I move around and bring closer to the lens for more detail (still within focusing distance).

I have noticed that when I move an object closer or further away while taking a video the camera is very slow to refocus, if it focuses at all. It simply might not change the focus or miss it entirely (focus on background, etc.).

Is there something to do to at least make the focus process more "aggressive"?

I don't mind a little hunting if it happens quickly and automatically as long as it doesn't take long. But sometimes it just takes up to 5 seconds to get the object in focus again if the distance has changed which is not really usable.

Any advice?
