this is contradictory. you have young kids and you dont care about good caf and video
I do. Videos of the kids is 80% iPhone (because it’s what you have on you) and 20% S1. It’s practically never MFT.
And that’s not counting the vast majority of kids videos my wife with her iPhone.

couldnt think of anything worst ,the terrible perspective distortion ,cant stand it, been taking videos of my now 17 yold daughter all her life glad i used proper cameras.

I agree with you and since I have the S1, I use it much more for video than I imagined. But my wife won't pick up a camera for video and if there are special occasions with the kids, I will have the S1 with me – and as far as video goes, it's arguably better than most things you can buy right now. CAF on the S1 also has been good enough for me with video for those situations.
This is why video CAF doesn't weigh that much to me for the decision between G9 and Em1iii.
Also, actually, if I did want to use the MFT for video, I think that would be in favor of the EM1iii since PDAF here definitely is better and I absolutely do NOT care about 4k60. Heck, I don't even care about 4K!
And I don't do grading. I wouldn't even try grading 4k60' on my 5y old iMac, it'd take insanely long. And even on my 55'' OLED TV, I find the difference between 4K and 1080p (from the S1) not significant enough to justify the enormous hassle of gigantic file sizes. What's the point of having 4K60 on my NAS if the WIFI network isn't even fast enough to stream it to the tele unless the NAS downscales it on the fly? And I'd be more likely to watch it on the iPad anyway, where there wouldn't be any appreciable different at all.
I am not saying you're wrong at all – just that for me, the practicality, available free time, and convenience just makes the theoretical video advantages of a G9 vs Em1 pointless really. For people who actually know what to do with video (you, I assume!) and who actually put the time and effort into the videos (cut, crop, grade, etc etc.), I can totally understand why it matters!
And, yes, I understand the irony that the S1 actually was in many ways the worst choice for me for Full Frame. It's the heaviest, most expensive, with big glass made for video (parfocal) and pro-video feature I couldn't possibly appreciate...
