I use a think tank skin belt and harness with a peak design capture 3 with my Fuji 100-400.  I realize that’s a bit smaller but it’s pretty big.  I love the setup.  I am able to slide the clip where it’s almost like a holster and it sits actually really nicely on my hip and barely moves when walking.  I have a second camera opposite to help balance the weight a bit.  If I am mostly carrying the camera and only sometimes clipping it I don’t even use the harness, just the belt.

I usually hike 3 or 4 miles.  More than that and I take my backpack instead as it’s just a bit more comfortable.
