Not that I want a touchscreen. If it is one, I hope there's an option to turn it off. But I'm open to trying it, and maybe I'll like it.

A 3rd hint: that looks very much like the GR III's touchscreen.

The implementation should be fine; they did a good job on the GR III. They still have all the buttons and dials, they won't force you to use it - but it should be more convenient for certain operations (image playback, live view...).
