Hi, as already mentioned by ipopov, we don't really care about whether a patent is at application stage or has been issued, or whether it is enforceable. The patents are valuable sources of information regarding the design of photo lenses.

If you read his post you will see that the patent is simply a source of optical prescriptions and examples of what optical designs are like.

He does not care about the patent in any other way.

I see no problem with that. I populate the PhotonsToPhotos Optical Bench with optical prescriptions from patents for this exact reason.
