Is 21mm going to be for full frame? I guess so. But what they've shown is 31mm Limited. Suppose 21mm isn't going to look nearly as 31mm as 31mm is screw drive lens. Can someone please give more details or clarify?

As stated, the *D-FA* 21 Limited will be full-frame (D-FA range are digital lenses which cover full-frame, ie K-1, K-1 II)

Agree that it looks a lot like 31 Limited, but as others already stated, this is a completely new lens, built from the ground up, is a little bit larger than the 31 Ltd, most probably weather-sealed and with a new and silent PLM motor (as opposed to screwdrive of the FA limiteds...

Sorry, it has a DC motor - not a PLM one.

The new DA* 16-50 will have a PLM motor.

The only things unknown is the maximum aperture (I am going to make a bold estimate and guessing it is f/2,8), price and performance.

This is a very interesting lens and one that was needed in the line-up.

Now Ricoh, if you could update the FA Limiteds, then I would be very delighted...
