Thanks for your answers, after more comparisons, I finally decided for the X100F. Some of the reasons were: same battery as XE3 (currently have 4), other similarities with the XE3: joy stick/processor generation, digital tele extender, more film simulations, ergonomics/location of the function buttons and to lesser importance more modern AF. After all if I do not like it I can sell it with little loss and get the 23mm and another X-E/T.

The X100F is a great camera The only thing "wrong" with it is that it's a single focal length camera and that makes it a camera that might not be perfect as an only camera.

I love the X100 series and have had two X100S cameras and then bought the X100F but I also have a couple of other cameras I use when the X100F just isn't appropriate.

With your X100F camera.

Have you tried the teleconverter?

In the thread, you referenced they're talking about the digital converter and that also works well but is basically a crop that Fuji does some in-camera manipulation with.

I've used the digital converter a few times and think it's a nice feature that does add versatility to the camera.

I'm usually not too keen to use add-on lenses to these compact cameras.

What I meant is the "Digital Teleconverter" (50mm, 70mm),

I'm challenging myself to shoot more JPEGs, and so the teleconverter is available to me sometimes. I find that most of the time I can zoom with my feet, but sometimes it can aid with composition.

At 70mm the image degradation is significant though. I think it'd be more useful if it was implemented as a smooth zoom with shorter range.

Yes, if can zoom with the feet, then will do.

However, with street photography,

sometimes having the option of,

both 35mm & 50mm can help.

..

Yes, I also agree about the 70mm,

but will use it when in a pinch.

..

Cheers!
