Re: SX60 on screen icons

I think you answered your own question..................... the red icon means you need to place it on a tripod to take the shot     Just experiment and it will be an awesome camera..................................................... I gave my daughter the an SX .... but she preferes to use her phone :))) Go figure :))))

Hi, I have just picked up a SX60 HS as an alternitive to lugging my dslr and multiple lenses with me. I have gone through a downloaded mamual but can't find (or missed) the answer I'm looking for,

Is the stabilisation icon flashing in red, telling me the stabilization is working, or needs to be activated. IS is on in the settings.?

Whoeversaid the sx60 is not the best in low light wasn't wrong. I know the far end of the zoom range is not the easiest to work with, but it seems so easy to finish up at the long end.

I can't see the D7500 being made redundant any time soon.
