I read a lot about the adaptative ring from canon and the technology limitation by using it with "non-RF" lenses and third party lenses (like Tamron, Sigma...)

I went with a used RF 24-70 f/2.8 mkII in stead of the RF 24-105mm f/4.0 IS.  The downer is no IS, but i have zero problems with that adapter.

To be honest, I do not have any RF lenses, first because it's too expensive to replace my actual hardware and after a while, I noticed no issue by using the adaptor ring without any limitation.

On the other hand, I don't understand really the strategy adopted by Tamron or Sigma to not develop a range of RF compatible lenses, compared to their Sony strategy

We all know that Canon hasn't opened their RF technology to the competitors,

By the way Samyang did it with their RF AF lenses...
