Re: Thanks

Virtually all of my images that are shared with others (books at Christmas for family members) are printed B&W square, so I set the cameras (Oly EM1.1 and 1.2, Lumix GX85 and G9) to show that during capture.  So I KNOW that what I want will fit in a square format when it comes time to print.  That feature alone would keep me from ever going back to film, or even a DSLR unless it could show 1:1 crop lines in the viewfinder.

I shoot RAW with all cameras, and always have a full 4:3 image in color to start with in LR.  If I shoot RAW + JPEG, as I always do with the G9 and sometimes do with the others, the JPEG is of course permanently cropped and converted to monochrome before the file is written. I thought all the M43 cameras worked that way.
