Phone 60fps not smooth video when slow motion
May 6, 2020
Hello:) First i want to tell that i am almost completely amateur in video:)
I have a cheap handheld 3 axis gimbal that i am using with my pocophone F1 for capturing some stable video. First i want to say that taking video with this gimbal there are many small vibrations in the footage that is a mystery for me. I know that the gimbal is cheap but videos i saw in youtube taken by this gimbal there is not such small vibrations during the footage. I tried the gimbal with counter weight and the same result. To edit the video i am using the movavi video editor. In the movavi video editor player it seems that when i am playing the video the quality is not good with banding and more vibration. When i am using external video player the playback is much better but still there is visible vibration in video. I tried the stabilization function in movavi , and seems to improve this small vibration and the video is smoother. I also applied the slow motion function from 100 to 60/100. The video looks good and smooth after apply vibration and slow but its something wrong like there are small freezing between the frames or small lag between them so its not very smooth. When i play the original video with external player, i cant notice this because also there are a lot of vibration in the video.
My computer has the i5 6600, 16gb ram, SSD hard drive, and 1060 gtx 3gb and i am running windows 10.
The first image is the file informations from the video after imported to movavi video editor and the second image is the informations of the exported video with played with the 321 video player. So my first question is why i am getting this small vibrations from my gimbal ( the software stabilization of pocophone is been enable too ) and why i am getting this small lag between the frames in the exported video? by the way in last information is that i tried now a very small video using my olympus em10 ii. i import the video fideo file ( mov) to the movavi, i slow down the video to 60/100 and i export the video. by the way all the videos i exported from movavi are in MP4 format. So in the first case with the pocophone i imported from mp4 and export to mp4 and in the second i import in mov and export to mp4.. The video from the em10ii looks smoother. i cant see any lag between the frames.
