The 22mm is also pretty good (even more if you consider it's price and size) and I recently purchased the sigma 56mm and it seems a very very good lens also.

Exactly. The M system, especially the M6II, with any of the good EF-M primes, Canon or Sigma, presents a simply unbeatable combination of quality, size, and affordability. I use primes for most of my shooting. It reminds me of how I fell in love with the magic of photography as a teenager with an SLR (Canon A-1) and sharp fast 50mm prime.
