My point was, and is, that there's a great deal of snobbery about regarding lens IQ and system quality, far beyond actual use cases. Certainly at higher magnifications, one can find differences. But are those differences real world? Not in most folks use case.

My current camera has a 32mp sensor. In evaluating lenses, I tend to do a 3X magnification in LR because that's the only way I can see differences. In actual shooting, they're all same, from my lowly kit lens to my L lenses.

If they are all the same to you, then why do you own any L lenses?
