I’d personally love to see it but the WR, other than size is one of the few things that differentiates the models. I have the XT30 and a XE1. I’ll admit I worry a lot more about the durability of the XT30 in less than favorable conditions. Considering an Xpro3 or XT3/4. Or just use my XE1its taken a beating over the years and keeps on clicking. Hindsight 20/20 probably should have gone with the XT3 over the 30 and used the XE1 as my small drag around.
All that said I’d love to see a smaller form factor body with WR.
I’m kind of thinking from a marketing stand point they will keep wr as well as ibis for the top cameras for the foreseeable future.
Agreed. I’m not that up to speed on IBIS technology but suspect that would be tough to fit in the smaller bodies.
The fact that I can see light from the front command dial to the rear doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies about the XT30 other than some small ergonomic complaints I generally love that camera.
Love my xe1. Like I said it has been used and abused. Especially the past few years. I figured if anything happened to it, it would be an excuse to upgrade. Finally upgraded.
I am a hobbyist at best, so I can tell you the limiting factor for either one of those bodies is me. I’m on a personal spending freeze for any hobby items right now. Although the 16 1.4 is in my sights. I don’t shoot in foul weather often so will probably just wait and see what they do with their body roadmap.
Oh same here, hobbyist/enthusiast, Fuji tech does everything I want to do, the WR would be nice for the tiny lenses though and just peace of mind. I have totally put the camera away in beautiful places because of the weather though.
