I will say again (as this is a common question on all DPR Boards) that they are all very different.

This is a basic tenant of photography.

10, 14, 16, 23, 28, 35, 50, 70 and 90 are all very different from each other.

So the base three (I'm talking FF equivalent) - 23, 35 and 50 - are all very different.

I prefer 28 FF equivalent as the best single focal length if only one lens can be chosen (thus the Q2).  Then 35 (the X100v).  Not the Old Nifty 50, which despite all the great 50mm shots in history and all the great old-school photographers who used it, is a bit boring if you ask me and not as much fun to shoot.

But we all have our own opinions on what is the favorite.  But I think most would agree they are all very different.

(Apologies to everything over 100mm - I'm not talking long here.)
