In these images, the focus point does not seem to be the same. Look at the tree branches above the drive in the lower left of the image. The Fuji is much sharper than the Sigma. It looks to me that the Fuji background is simply more out of focus, hence the difference.

Having said that, it's well-known that the Sigma cameras' unique sensor is capable of results far superior to apparently similar normal sensors (bayer or X-trans) in good light. The trade off is in poor light or where dynamic range is required.
