Just saw this little one posing for me when I was taking some air on my backyard and figured I could do a mini portrait session.

Gonna try hanging around with the RX10 IV and the P1000 and taking similar shots of it with both cameras. I am guessing the 3000mm reach will be able to deliver more feather detail vs the bigger sensor with much smaller reach.

Fabulous capture & picture!

Outstanding achievement at 3000mm.

You're doing a great job with your P1000.

And I think the feather detail in this image is fine.

Screen capture close-up.

Thanks for sharing & happy snapping.

Cheers!

Thank you. Considering that I couldnt get closer and the small sensor size, I think the lens reach was able to make the results much better than expected. I don't think my rx10 IV could have done any better as cropping that much would have killed the detail and the advantage of the bigger sensor. That is where I feel I cannot think or the Sony OR the Nikon as which to keep but more as in keeping both.
