My 12-40 f2.8 Pro is my "go to" lens for the vast majority of my shooting. I purchased the 17mm f1.8 to give me a smaller profile on my E-M5 Mark ll for going out to restaurants, parties, etc. It is also pretty good for well lit nighttime street scenes.

For casual "happy snaps", I just use my Pixel Smartphone. I think I'm a fairly good amateur, but I am not likely to take my OMD cameras everywhere with me. I'm a bit lazy I guess!

Smaller, more streamlined camera body size and all-day carry are why so many of us prefer rangefinder-style bodies like the Panasonic GX-series or PEN-F, to faux DSLRs.

If Olympus releases a successor to the Pen-F I would definitely consider buying it.
