I have since managed to handle an X-T20 in a store and found it too light to be comfortable. The X100 series is just about right in terms of weight and size for me - my goldilocks cam.

So it looks like I will go for the X100T next month. It'll be a step up for sure.

Did you make the purchase? I thought I'd add that my X100 died ugly when I fell face first into a stream. I purchased the X100T direct from Fuji even though it was discontinued. I got it at a great price (new) that was actually below the pricing I found at eBay at the time (for used). I LOVE the X100T and have since added a (used) WCL-100. I use this camera and adapter in addition to my S9+ as my go to kit for everything. Worked out great for a three week trip to both the North and South islands of NZ.
Most enjoyable camera I've ever owned with the possible exception of my very first camera, a Nikon FM, and the Rolleiflex 2.8f TLR from 1963 that I inherited.  I really wish I still had my X100 as that is what re-invigorated my love of photography after decades of just taking pictures.
