I was planning to get a prime, but this 24-70 zoom lens is so good in many situations that I think it will be a keeper without prime(s), as the MW is not yet very visible even late night I can't have a good idea of how nice this lens can capture the MW.

So anyone of you tried this lens with the MW using stacking? and could you do it from a relatively high light polluted area?

Here's my photo from last summer. This is single frame out of dozen so you could judge lens performance. My shutter speed was 20 seconds which as I see now was a bit much but still ok. Converted in LR using default setting and no adjustments.
