Issue with Fuji Zooms and Tripod

Interesting thread. Kirth, you're definitely not too picky. I am curious what will be the outcome.

I have an X-T20. Just a few words on focusing with the self timer.

• Release/focus priority = focus
• Shutter AF = on
• Shutter AE = on

When use the self timer, the camera will focus and take the exposure in the same moment when I press the shutter. Then the 2 or 10 s time period starts. Anything that happens between pressing the shutter and the actual shutter release plays no role w.r.t. exposure and focus. The camera does NOT focus again before taking the exposure.

Btw, I always use a remote shutter release (cable) if my face is not needed on the picure

However, the problem is that from what you describe, I do not assume that this is the problem...

Looks more like motion blur.
