Re: M6ii flash live view help

Hi everyone. Sorry to have to ask this here but I haven't figured this out myself yet. I'm using an off camera flash and first exposing for the background (darker). When I half press the shutter button the screen/image brightens to focus on the subject, but then stays this way until after a photo is taken. Is there an easy way to go back to the 'real' live view (in this case darker) without having to take a photo?

- Wait long enough?  On my M50 it gets darker again after a while (somewhere between 15 and 30 seconds?)

- go to menu and return to shooting?  If you return to shooting with half pressing the shutter button it might be a good idea to set up the camera for back button focusing.

i.e. reset it. Similar thing with AE lock, on the M100 you press * to lock and again to unlock. On the M6ii if you press again it just re-locks to the new exposure. I'm sure I am missing something simple....
