The 28mm fov is the same as my iPhone (basically) I much prefer 35, even 50mm. If it had a more normal/tele lens on it, that would be much more exciting to me.

The wideangle adaptor is the reason i bought it, amazing quality and still possble to have in a jacket pocket: that is 18mm equivalent and almost as good as the native lens!

The X70 feels like a decent zoom camera to me since i also use the 35 and 50mm crop as long as i don't need raw, thus i have 18, 28, 35 and 50 so choose from:)

The 35mm is comparable to 10mp shot on a m43 sensor

The 50mm is comparable to 5mp shot on a 1" sensor

Since the lens is really high quality its crop images are fine for smaller prints or web

I was also let down by the focus pretty often. Not sure why, but it just wasn’t snappy for me.

Focus needs some nice vertical lines, having those it is sufficiently fast, i am used to that behaviour from most fuji models i had (f31fd, f70, f200, x-s1) - what i do miss is stabilization, yet i love the fuji colours and control, so i live with that and like using old cameras that otherwise would be left unused
