I used a FE2 for 20 years. I have many lenses and bellows and BR2 for this camera. What newer and better IQ camera than a D200 (that I use now) should I move up to? I am satisfied with the quality of a D7000 level camera. Price is a concern. Interested in lens fit and usability.

I recently switched from a D200 to a D7200 for my IR "stuff" and am quite pleased with my choice.  Unlike the more recent D7500, it does provide the same level of compatibility with AI and AI-s lenses as the D200 did.  I take it out to play at the oceanfront today, but I can't say my shots were all that inspiring.

IR-converted D7200 and 18-105mm lens, Red and Blue channels swapped.
