Ricoh GR - Pro
2

As someone who was disappointed with the GR III release, it got me thinking... Is there anyone who would be interested in one of the following;

1) A revival of some version of the GXR.

Nothing as chopped up and confused as the previous iteration.

3 prime modules 28, 35, 50 with APS-C sensor.

One zoom module approx. 28-200 with a 1" smaller sensor.

Built in IBIS, Flash, pop-up EVF, flip screen.

2) Or a GR-Pro? Slightly bigger body with exchangeable lenses. Built in IBIS, Flash, EVF, flip screen.

Personally, I think a GXR revival would do really well. Especially because it allows them to compete in two markets; large sensor fixed lens compacts, and long-zoom point and shoots.

Optional modules in the future would be; a monochrome sensor, and a macro sensor/lens.

Of course, Ricoh would have to sort out its mess of AF. Perhaps license from Sony? And, of course, of course, this will never happen; given Pentax's recent proclamation that we'll all be using DSLR's in a few years.....
