Had five minutes today with the Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S today

Unfortunately I was not able to shoot any images with it with my Z7 but was able to see how fast autofocus was  and get the feel of the lens when mounted on a Z7 the Nikon reps had with them.

My impressions: autofocus was very accurate and very fast.

Image stabilization works a treat.

On a Z7 body it feels much better balanced than the AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8E + FTZ and maybe it is a little lighter  than the AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8E.

I could be wrong but it looked like the tripod foot is maybe 3/4 to an inch longer than on the AF-S 70-20m f/2.8E as well.
