Nice image.  The ghosting is actually due to a little too much use of sliders, sharpening, and maybe shadow/highlights adjustments.

I think you can reverse some of or maybe even all of it to get back to something you might like a lot better.   Here I would take a weak paint brush and use the color adjacent to the trees and house to color in the halos, and adjust the sharpness using a weak blur tool over the entire image.

I also noticed the right horizon is a bit lower so I raised it back up some.
