My current printer, Canon IP4500, is failing - blues streak, even after swapping out the print head. I have no idea what's gone wrong, but all of the cleaning (including washing the print head in alcohol - soak overnight) does zilch. Grr...

My current contender is the Epson XP-15000. No need for all-in-one. My current flatbed scanner works just peachy keen. Aside from the medical community sends faxes? I'm not a doctor. I don't play one on TV. I don't even own a stethoscope.

Hi, I have had the Epson XP15000 for two years. It is excellent. I does all my routine office printing and also makes excellent color or monochrome prints to a very high standard. I have never seen better prints coming off any printer. I use Epson Premium Semigloss Photo Paper 251 gsm. I have never had to run a head clean.

Highly recommended.

The only potential downside is that it is very light weight, some people might say that some of the components could be a bit delicate. This is no problem for me as the only (careful) user. But I would not put it in a general office environment.
