Have anybody noticed this;

In the evening backlight you look through the EVF.

  1. compensate the backlight by adjusting the brightness
  2. press the shutter.
  3. Then look at the final picture in the EVF. The brightness of the picture is not what you saw before pressing the shutter. Also the colors are little different.

Then you keep doing this and you finally get it right. Is it just my camera or anybody other seen this? Any better in G9?

I'm assuming you're using constant preview?

The problems you are describing in this thread are true for all mirrorless cameras. Even the G9. Don't go off what you see in the EVF. Use the histogram and zebra stripes to determine exposure...

Constant preview only works when shooting in Manual exposure mode. I think the more-likely-to-be-correct assumption is that the OP is not shooting in Manual exposure mode and using constant preview. He could try that, however, and see if he gets results closer to what he sees in the EVF before he presses the shutter button.
