X-T3 dials vs X-T2

I am not sure I have ever started a thread.. first things first.. as a long-time lurker.. thank you to everyone here for all the help (and confusion) you have provided.

I recently decided to purchase an X-T3. The first one I purchased used and it had several issues, the main being it was sold to me well below the condition it was described. I also purchased one new. Before doing this I tested the X-T3 out several times at BB so I know how it felt in-hand. I should add that I have owned several Fuji bodies, including the X-T2.

My question is specifically about the ISO and SS dials. I do use these dials and the ones on my X-T2 had no issues with extra clicks, stickiness, or pops. The dials on the used X-T3 were inconsistent. By that I mean the EC dial was CRAZY stiff, the ISO dial felt pretty good and the SS dial felt like it was going to pop off and had and extra “pop’ sound like the old metal cap toys you would bend in and then pop out.

The ‘new’ (wasn’t sealed at all so I made sure not to turn it on since I was returning) had inconsistent dial issues. The ‘new’ 3 had the SS dial pop issue and the ISO dial lock/click thing was sticking on press/release.

Before the OCD comments flood in, I use an X-E2 daily and it has its quirks.. but everything feels right. It has loosened over time but that is to be expected. However, the dials on the X-T3 do not feel like a quality product.

Did I get two bad bodies? I wonder if someone returned the ‘new’ X-T3 since it was not sealed and the dial issues are obvious if you have used the X-T line before.
