RF 24-105mm F4 vs EF 16-35mm F4 (24-35mm FL only)

I know this is kind of a weird question, but I am trying to map my lens life out for my soon to be EOS RP. I am looking to get a general walkaround lens, debating between the ef 16-35 f4 and the rf 24-105 f4. I know they are totally different lenses, but I lived with only a 35mm and 85mm prime for years with my 6d and was fairly happy besides wanting to go wider at times. I have no idea about the size of the 16-35mm, but if the IQ is what ive heard about, it should be pretty good to keep on and treat it as a 35mm f4.

I am sure people own both or have used both, but how do these lenses compare when comparing 24mm-34mm at f4? Are they identical? Does one have an advantage over the other? Price wise they are close. The 16-35mm has an advantage of making really unique compositions at the wide end, but obviously stops at 35mm. The 24-105mm has the advantage of never changing lenses while out on a trip.

In general ive been a 2-3 lens type of person, I can get by with a general lens and a portrait lens. So ill probably get either the 16-35 or 24-105 and some EF 50mm or 85mm for portraits, and ill keep my 50mm 1.8/40mm 2.8 for lightweight inconspicuous street shooting.
