E-M1 III: trade-in price; transfer of settings

I'm about to buy an E-M1 Mark III and I wonder about two things.

Trade-in price: Anyone have information on how much Olympus gives in trade for a Mark II? I saw one person who said he got $400. That is dreadfully low, I think, and subverts the motivation to buy from Olympus. I looked on eBay and got the impression that the going rate was closer to $800. If Olympus only pays about $400, then the trade-in bonus ($200) STILL makes it more advantageous to trade-in elsewhere.

In addition, I can also buy the Mark III without paying tax, while from Olympus, I bet I pay tax.

If we could collect a few trade-in offers people have gotten, we could make a more informed choice about going with Olympus vs. finding a buyer on eBay or Craigs list.

Transferring Settings: It would be very nice if I could use my Mark II settings backups to set up my new III. I'm betting Olympus only allows, at best, same model transfer of settings (and I could be as bad as a same-camera limitation). But, I'd LOVE to be wrong about this. Anyone try or know whether you can transfer settings from a Mark II to a Mark III?
