Certainly, the original question and those considerations are very subjective. My goal was to get the general feeling about that somehow aged glass or such dilemma in general.

Haven't used any of the big whites so can't relate directly, but I like your idea to use those less-utilized lenses "more often next time" - if for no other reason, then at least to move from my well beaten "track".
