Drawback of silent mode

After using my 200-500 lens handheld with the Z6, I realized that shutter shock was responsible for a significant drop in sharpness. Switching to silent mode seems to eliminate the shutter shock effect, more then using EFCS. Are there any known drawback from using silent mode outdoors? I haven't been able to find a clear answer yet.
