Crop factor questions

Hi,

I’m aware that putting a full frame lense on a crop sensor body increases the equivalent focal length (so 50mm is roughly equivalent to about an 85mm?) but how does this affect the aperture equivalent value?

For example, if I put a 50mm 1.4 on a Canon 80D and set the aperture at its widest at 1.4, my focal length would be equivalent to roughly 85mm but would my aperture be equivalent to something different or still 1.4?

Secondly, I saw someone using a Fujifilm XT-3 I think? Which I know is a crop sensor and he was using a 56mm 1.2 lens. I presume that lens is a crop sensor lens? Does that mean it would remain equivalent 56mm focal length with 1.2 aperture and not be closer to 85mm?

Thanks

Canon EOS 80D
