After reading more reviews it seems the Z6 can only do up to 5.5 fps with active exposure metering. Any higher fps the exposure is locked. That was by Steve Perry a year ago. Has that changed in any of the firmware upgrades? The Nikon site says 12 continuous frames per second with no asterisk. 12 bit? 14 bit? ???

The AE lock restriction was removed with firmware 2.00. Z6 is now full AF and AE up to 9fps @14bit and 12fps @12bit.
