According to DXO and PhotonsToPhotons the files of D850 have more dynamic range up to ISO800. The difference is about 2 stops here. Between ISO1600 and ISO3200 they are about equal. Above ISO3200 the D5 has more dynamic range. The difference is about 1 stop here.

If you don't care about landscapes on a tripod or very high resolution files then you don't need a D850.
