I've been at work since posting this thread, so I have not been able to test the lens (or even camera) yet. Thanks for the input.

Took it out mounted via MC11 to an A7III. AF was so far good, and comparable to 150-600s on D500. However, there is this initial AF acquisition time..maybe in less 1 second which obviously lags comparing to my native 100-400 FE lens which focused instantly on A6400. I known different platforms perform differently but  that is all I have. Too bad local coronavirus outbreak stopped most of our shooting opportunities.
