If you wear glasses & have used both the X-Pro2 & 3, I'd like to know which one you prefer. Thanks very much!
X-E3 opinions also welcome.
I am right-eyed.
The EVF on the Pro3 is significantly better than the Pro2. In other words it is actually usable.
I just find this sort of casual hyperbole so irritating. There is nothing wrong with the EVF on the X-Pro2, it is perfectly “useable”. Yes it’s a little smaller than some, and it’s LCD rather OLED so a little less contrasty etc, and I don’t doubt for a second that the XP3’s EVF is significantly better (although I’m not so sure about the OVF) - but to suggest that the X-Pro2’s EVF isn’t useable is just plain rot and really helps nobody. Other than Fuji salesmen, of course.
Of course the Xpro-2 is a still a great camera! The existence of the Xpro-3 doesn't put it into the "dustbin of history". I had many adventures with it, using both the OVF and EVF. I know what lenses, using OVF, on the Xpro-2 vs. the Xpro-3 supports is a big decision for many photographers.
For me I had to balance all the things I thought I'd like with the newer Xpro-3 vs. my Xpro-2. With my aging eyes the EVF on the Xpro-3 vs. my Xpro-2 tipped the balance.
In the end I opted for the Xpro-3 as I thought keeping both was in fact a bit too redundant. Believe me this is hard as I still have my trusty Pentax ME, and Contax T2 sitting right along the side of my Xpro-3 in the dry cabinet. Again, I'm not suggesting the Xpro-2 is dated.
I won't even get into the economics and spousal ("She Who Must Be Obeyed...") ramifications of keeping both cameras
