Expanding the RX100VI, part 2: Macro
1

In order to increase the macro capabilities I got the Raynox DCR 150 that I mounted on a 52mm Magfilter adapter. The hardest part was to find a 52-43 step-down ring to avoid using the Raynox adapter. It works well, but I like to keep both the strain on the magnet and the equipment bulk low . The Raynox comes with a front lens cap that is OK, but I will put a standard 49mm lens cap instead. A 34mm lens cap fits well in back of the Magfilter.

The result is good, but I think I sometimes  would like to have even more magnification. I went for the 150 because I saw some comments that the 250 was much more difficult to use. What are your experiences?
