Need I apply the "crop factor" when using M lenses on my M50?

I fully understand the 1.6 crop factor math when using non-M lenses, but must I apply that math when using an M lens on my M-50?  I have an M 15-45...Must I multiply x 1.6 for the "true" focal length?  If so, I would find that odd considering they are with the same system.

Thanks for any help!!!
