That's an impressive shot!

As I see it, with a flash transmitter installed and switched on, alternatives are:

  • Shoot flash with all settings on manual (ISO not on Auto-ISO).
  • Shoot flash in Aperture or Shutter priority with Auto-ISO. Exposure will be controlled by the flash/camera.
  • Alternatively you can shoot flash in those modes with your own choice of ISO value. The reason for setting ISO is that the camera otherwise defaults to quite a high value (e.g. 1600) though that may be OK for underwater.
  • If you want to shoot without flash and the controller is still on, you need Manual mode and set a fixed ISO value, not Auto-ISO. Exposure will of course be fully manual and flashes must be manually switched off (or masked).
