FZ1000, FZ1000 ii, or FZ2500 for Still Photography

If somebody is familiar with these models, could you tell me how they compare for still image quality? Most of the FZ2500 reviews I have read are so busy bragging on video capability that I don't know how its still shots compare to the FZ1000. Specifically,

  • I do a lot of product photography. Mostly indoors, but occasionally outdoors. It would be great if I could get some crisp "splash" shots of liquid products. But if I can't, it is not a deal-breaker.
  • I do event photography. (fairs, weddings, banquets) Both indoors and outdoors, at pretty much any time of day. I wonder if the FZ2500's built-in ND filter would help prevent bright daylight photos from looking washed out. Or is that even a problem with this line? ... And I wonder how well these cameras perform in dimly lit rooms.
  • I also enjoy nature and pet photography. This is another place where I wonder if the FZ2500 would excel since it has a little more zoom. (However, if the image quality is at all worse with the FZ2500, I will save my money and skip the zoom.)

I am tempted to try a Sony RX10 iv, but it is so expensive and I would really miss having a fully-articulated screen. Feel free to chime in though if you think Sony or any other bridge camera could be a better option.

I currently have a Canon Powershot SX60 HS and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS60. Pictures from these two cameras have been OK, but it is time to switch up.
