Exactly. They should have held the line and kept the XT4 the same size as the XT3 but made it better.

IBIS and a bigger battery, same size and weight? 😕🤦‍♂️

Then it would be something to marvel at. Once the camera size increase, it’s no longer a marvel.

There is no magic wand anywhere, a bigger battery and ibis while retaining x-t series unique design signature requires some growth in size and weight.

Please let's keep our feet planted firmly to the ground rather than chasing pie in the sky fantasies.

What are you talking about, look at the FF competition , all have IBIS and the Sony has TWICE the shot rating with their battery and it’s lighter. Face it, isn’t it possible that larger camera companies can afford to pay more for better engineers?

I took the competition into account which is why I said your expectations are not realistic, ever wondered why the Nikon Z7 and Canon R are both heavier than the Sony A7iii. Nikon has a smaller battery than A7iii yet is heavier, the Canon R has no IBIS yet is heavier, Do you think those companies lack resources too? Do you suppose that the  A7iii's weaker IBIS implementation, lower resolution EVF and smaller LCD don't contribute its smaller size and weight? There is no free lunch 🤦‍♂️
