Re: Can't turn off flash in Manual mode?

This is similar to my experience with the A7Riii in Aperture-priority mode. If an electronic flash trigger is mounted and switched on, the camera assumes pre-set exposure settings in anticipation that a flash is available and will fire. Since the camera cannot turn off the controller, it assumes the flash is set for on. Having no control over the flash, it obviously cannot turn it off. If a shot is then taken with flash off, the image will of course be underexposed. I also confirm the pre-view looks OK because it is generated with an assumption that the flash will fire.

I haven’t tied it in manual mode but presumably it will set an auto-ISO value in accordance with the flash firing.
