Exactly. They should have held the line and kept the XT4 the same size as the XT3 but made it better.

IBIS and a bigger battery, same size and weight? 😕🤦‍♂️

Then it would be something to marvel at. Once the camera size increase, it’s no longer a marvel.

There is no magic wand anywhere, a bigger battery and ibis while retaining x-t series unique design signature requires some growth in size and weight.

Please let's keep our feet planted firmly to the ground rather than chasing pie in the sky fantasies.

What are you talking about, look at the FF competition , all have IBIS and the Sony has TWICE the shot rating with their battery and it’s lighter. Face it, isn’t it possible that larger camera companies can afford to pay more for better engineers?

If the rumors of the T4 are true then it is what it is, sounds like it won’t be a camera for you and that’s cool. Sounds like FF is an option for you to consider since Fuji will never go that route and it doesn’t sound like you’re happy. Or you can upgrade to the T3 which will be a great camera for years to come. If Fuji’s other offerings don’t appeal to your needs then it’s time to move on and that’s totally cool, you have to be happy. Or you can use two systems, the options are there. 👍🏻

After all is said and done and your photo is hanging on the wall, no one is going to know or care what camera, lens, or what post processing you used. All they care about is if the image moves them.
I’m not hung up on the Bokeh fad because I’m too busy chasing shadows.
