B&W birds.

Some birds here in Thailand are very colourful, bright yellow, green, or blue, but most are very dull, or purely B&W.

So I converted a few shots I took the other day to B&W, and some worked great, some less so.

Here are some samples:

Like a painting in B&W, the most contrasty part being the dark grey eye with its black pupil.

This Streak-eared Bulbul, normally different shades of brown, except the iris, which is grey, works great in B&W
