AFAIK that was just wth the E-M1 (original), not excusing it but I never saw people complaining about it with other models, did you? (honest question) The E-M1 had a rash of QC issues (the lugs, dials falling off, display case screws coming out, EVF sun burn in) that were mostly solved with time... By the point that the E-M5 II came around you didn't really hear about any of that, from what I saw anyway.

The most common issue I remember when the EM5.2 came out was screws for the rear screen that loosened off, and the eye piece hood coming off.
