Z continuous shooting rate

Still getting to know the Z6 and Z7, and was wondering if someone could answer this question.

On the continuous release modes, the manual states the following:

Continuous Low - 1-5 FPS

Continuous H - 5.5FPS (Z6), 5 FPS (Z7)

Continuous H (extended) - 12 FPS (Z6), 9 FPS (Z7)

(All the above using mechanical shutter and 12 bit raw.)

I know that when the Z's were first launched, the Continuous High Extended setting (12/9 FPS) locked the exposure and AF on the 1st frame, but I believe this limitation was removed with later firmwares ?

My question is, what limitations (if any) are there shooting in the fastest "Continuous High extended" setting to get the fastest FPS please ?
