A couple of days ago I bought a very nice used GX7II and I was wondering about the electronic shutter. 12-bit? 10-bit? Thanks for the info. I shot quite a bit with it yesterday on my first outing with it and I used the electronic shutter all day. The same as I normally do with my PEN-F and E-M10II. I know the situations where I need to switch to the mechanical shutter and I do that only in those situations. The PEN-F and E-M10II have 12-bit electronic shutters and the scan time is 1/20 second. Not so fast, but not as slow as some electronic shutters that are more like 1/10 or 1/8 second. I think the E-M1X is 1/60 and maybe the E-M1III also. Not sure about the E-M1II and E-M5III. Does anyone know about the GX7II/GX85?
